How to Make a Free Worm Harvester

from wikiHow - The How to Manual That You Can Edit

There are many ways to harvest worms. Professorial worm harvesters are out of reach for most, small worm raisers. making piles is a pretty slow process.

Steps

  1.

  2. drill a hole in the exact center of each end, about 1/2 inch should be fine.

Tips

  • Next, run a peice of rebar, though the barrel holes, letting it stick out about a foot or more on each end.

  • a picture of a simple 2x2 wood sifter harvester. set the rebar and barrel on 2 saw horse's, or something you have similar.

  • take a saw and cut 3 areas out of the side's of the barrel, from the top to the bottom, when you get done, you will have the top, the bottom, and 3 rib's, connecting the 2 ends.

  • on each end, make several holes-from the edge to the center, but leave the center area alone, like a 1/2 slice of pizza,

  • line the inside with screen, and walla, you are done.

Happy Mothers Day, Mom

I hope that all the Mothers out there, have a wonderfull day. And lets not forget about those other "moms" the ones that have to be a mom and a dad.

There was a time, that I was a Mom, Dad and Brother to my kids. It realy bothered me and my kids when we kept hearing about all the great things that Moms do. and They do, but there is many Dads that have to play both roles because there is no mother/wife around. So my hat goes off to all those that are Moms and those that have to play the role.

And to my own MOM, thank you for all that you have done.
